These earrings are based off of this early 19th Century portrait I came across in my research. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any details about it, but it's probably from the 1820s-1830s.
Her lovely, bold black and gold earrings are so striking!
My version is made with black glass beads and rich gold-plated filigree elements. They have lots of fun dangle and movement!
These measure about 2" long, including the clasp.
Shown here on hoop findings, but also available as a leverback or clip-on style.
